Is the food you are buying fake?

Extra virgin olive oil contains a whole host of health benefits including anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties... when it's pure.

Mediterranean diet helps prevent memory loss

Research shows that consuming plenty of fruit and vegetables, olive oil, and even the odd glass of wine could slow shrinking of the brain among people in their 70s.

Recent improvements in measurement technology have now thrown a spotlight on the quantity of these chemicals released by normal use. And the results are truly terrifying.

Cheap vegetable oil made from seeds (canola, sunflower, corn, safflower, grapeseed, rice bran and soybean oils) is a new addition to the human diet. Unlike animal fats and oils made from fruit (olive, avocado and coconut oils), they're very high in polyunsaturated fats and in particular something called an omega-6 fat.

Daigou Training

March 2017

We showcased our Foodies for Food Lovers Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a large group of Chinese re-sellers. This is all part of the sales support we provide at NZ Premium Foods.  We started with a blind tasting of a variety of olive oils including our own.  This is a great way distinguish between the quality and taste of some of the olive oils currently on the market.  We then demonstrate some recipes - marinades, dressings and an olive oil chocolate mousse - delicious and healthy. We end the session with discussion about the health benefits of olive oil.
