Sweet and Salty Date Sugar Nut Clusters
Ingredients:
2 large egg whites
3 tablespoons Date Sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup raw & unsalted pecans
1 cup raw & unsalted almonds
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
¼ teaspoon foodies flaky sea salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 150ºC and line a large baking tray with baking paper. In a large mixing bowl, vigorously whisk egg whites, date sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add pecans, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds. Stir well to coat.
Use two spoons to scoop mounds of nut mixture onto baking sheet leaving space between each cluster. Bake for 20-22 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt right away. Allow 15 minutes for nut clusters to set before enjoying. Gently peel off baking paper and store in an airtight container in a dry location.
