Pani = bun, Popo = coconut.
Fluffy, crusty, and baked in coconut milk… yeah, you need to make these. I’ve never made Pani Popo before, and after reading many versions online, I’m convinced there’s no one right way to make them. I’ve seen everything from buns with no sauce to versions swimming in coconut sauce. Here's my take - it strikes a balance: buns that soak up the coconut milk while still leaving a saucy base.
