Buttery Toasted Pecans
- Pecan halves

- Ground red pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Toss together the butter and pecans.
- Transfer to a baking tray, and bake for 25 minutes or until toasted, stirring halfway through.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cool before serving.
These pecans can be made in advance for a great make-ahead appetizer. Store cooled nuts in an airtight container at room temperature (or refrigerated) for one to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to six months.
